A native of Bolton, Ontario, Rebecca played her junior hockey for the Brampton Jr Thunder in the PWHL (2009-2011), followed by a illustrious NCAA D-I career at Robert Morris University, from which she graduated as an All-Time Leading Scorer in 2015. She was named Rookie of The Year in the CHA after the 2011-2012 season. Rebecca was also nominated for the Patty Kazmaier award during her first year in the NCAA. She was named to the All-First Team in 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, as well as to the All-Second Team in 2014-2015. During her professional career Rebecca played for the Brampton Thunder (CWHL) from 2015 to 2017 and was a runner-up for the Rookie of The Year award during the 2015-2016 season. She was also named to the All-Star Game during the 2016-2017 season. During the 2017-2018 season Rebecca was a part of the Buffalo Beauts in the NWHL, where she was also named to the All-Star Game.
